Location
Our Surf Lodge sits in one of Porto’s trendiest neighborhoods – Bonfim. This laid-back and authentic district lies just outside the typical tourist path, yet it remains only a short distance from the historic center and all its highlights. And the surf beaches? They’re within easy reach too – our surf vans take you to some of the region’s best spots in just 20 to 40 minutes each day.
Bonfim is a vibrant neighborhood loved for its cozy cafés, craft-beer pubs, excellent restaurants, art galleries, and unique shops – all reflecting Porto’s creative spirit. It blends traditional Portuguese architecture with modern buildings and elegant villas along wide, tree-lined avenues.
It’s also extremely well connected: the nearest metro station is 700 meters away (only three stops to the historical center), a bus stop sits just 100 meters from the Surf Lodge, and an Uber ride downtown takes under 10 minutes and costs around 5 EUR.
